Tips For a Disney Vacation

by Sun Valley Pediatric Dentistry | Aug 6, 2014 | Uncategorized

tips for a disney vacation

tips for a disney vacationSince 1955, Disneyland has been one of the most popular vacation destinations in the entire world. Commonly referred to as “the happiest place on earth,” Disneyland is home to the most iconic and lovable characters, shows, and attractions that have been bringing millions upon millions of tourists for the past sixty years.
With so much to do and so much to see, a Disney vacation can sometimes seem a bit overwhelming — especially when the kids are involved. That’s why we’ve put together some of our favorite tips to help you out on your next trip to Disneyland Park. Enjoy!

Tips For a Disney Vacation

Bring your own snacks: Not too many people know that you are actually allowed to bring in your own snacks into the Disneyland and California Adventure parks. The only food items you are not allowed to bring in are glass bottles or outside alcohol.
Purchase the PhotoPass+: For only $70 you and your family will have the option to have your photo taken at some of the most iconic stops around the Disneyland and California Adventure parks. With PhotoPass+ you can edit your photos with borders and can also add your favorite Disney characters to the picture.
Know when to go: If you’re looking to avoid the massive crowds that can accumulate at Disneyland try going during these times:

  • The first week of January up until President’s Day weekend in February
  • After Labor Day weekend until the week before Halloween
  • After Thanksgiving weekend until one week before Christmas

Watch a movie: The Main Street Cinema is located towards the entrance of the park and is constantly showing some classic Disney animated shorts. This is a great tip if you’re traveling with young ones who need a break or even a nap during the day.
